Barossa Valley
The Barossa is one of Australia’s most celebrated and historic wine-producing areas, renowned worldwide for its quality wines. 1 hour North of Adelaide, it is home to some of the oldest continuously producing vines in the world, dating back to the 1840s.
Due to its Mediterranean climate, summers tend to be warm and dry. There is little temperature variation between the hottest and coldest months. Such climate is conducive to full-bodied red wines, excellent fortified wines and generally robust whites.
