CLASSIC VS. WATTLESEED
Applewood Gin has a botanical-rich profile consisting of 20 ingredients, notably the rare desert lime, native wattleseed and aromatic peppermint gum leaf. This is a distinctly Australian-style Gin, with predominantly herbal and citrus flavours. It's unique character has resulted in it winning many awards, as recent as Gold at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2020.
The Applewood Wattleseed Gin is a small batch limited edition, with only 500 bottles made in total. In Australia it was sold out within 5 days! We therefore count ourselves extremely lucky to have been able to get our hands on a few of these special bottles. The wattleseed, harvested from Acacia trees, gives it a slightly drier note than it's classic counterpart. Add to that a double-
NEAT, G&T, COCKTAIL?
We think that both Gins have enough personality and are smooth enough to stand up on their own: whether neat and at room temperature, on the rocks, or with some thyme or lemon peel - the choice is yours. In a G&T, we suggest a neutral and dry tonic or something like Fevertree Mediterranean, which displays subtle notes of thyme, rosemary and citrus that complement the flavours of the Gin.
